Ballarat Begonia Festival

For the Ballarat Begonia Festival, we collaborated with artists Hattie Molloy and Esther Olsson to light up three laneways—McKenzie Street, Hop Lane, and Police Lane—with vibrant, begonia-inspired installations.

Our neon floral designs added a radiant touch to the playful displays, celebrating Ballarat’s deep connection to these beloved blooms. The installations combined botanical patterns, flower-net chequerboard floors, tussock grasses, and hay bales wrapped in floral designs, evoking a sense of nostalgia and wonder.

This project reflects how light, art, and nature come together to create memorable spaces—inviting everyone to explore, connect, and enjoy the beauty of both flowers and creativity.
